Captain Doug Stanford has been fishing his entire life. His earliest memories are on the water chasing and reeling in monster fish. For over 15 years, Captain Doug has been guiding professionally out of the bays in Rockport, Port Aransas, and Aransas Pass TX. Whether you’re looking for a fun family trip or want to hook onto something that will give you the fight of your life, Captain Doug can accommodate any skill level of anglers–from beginners to professionals. In addition to guiding, he has also won numerous tournaments and is also a member of the ShallowSport pro team, Gulf Coast Marine pro team, and Power Pole pro team. He’s been featured in several fishing magazines, newspaper articles, as well as several seasons of Wide Open Outdoor Adventures TV. He is also featured on the weekly Texas Fishing Tips videos on youtube. He is also a member of the Coastal Bend Guide’s Association as well as the Port Aransas Tourism Bureau & Chamber of Commerce. He’s licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard & Texas Parks & Wildlife, and is trained in both first aid & CPR.
